Tade Odunowo is a seasoned financial technology and banking executive with over 20 years of global experience spanning fintech, digital banking, cybersecurity, enterprise risk management, and regulatory compliance. She currently serves as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Kaizen Microfinance Bank, where he provides strategic leadership focused on digital transformation, financial inclusion, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
Prior to joining Kaizen Microfinance Bank, Tade served as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Funds and Electronic Transfers Solution Limited (FETS), where she successfully transformed the organization into a leading mobile payment and financial services platform. Under her leadership, the company experienced exponential growth, increasing its annual turnover from $1 million to over $100 million within six years, while expanding its services to include mobile payments, international remittances, QR-based payments, Payment Terminal Service Provider (PTSP) services, and government-to-person (G2P) disbursement platforms.
She has also held senior roles with leading global organizations including United Bank for Africa (UBA), Deloitte & Touche (USA), Reuters (USA), and Verbas Technology (USA), where he specialized in technology risk management, cybersecurity, digital banking security, and enterprise technology governance. During her consulting career, she advised multinational organizations such as American Express, Barclays Bank, Citigroup Private Bank, and UBS on technology risk and privacy frameworks.
Tade holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Pace University, New York, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin. She is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
