Maleeq John is a seasoned IT professional with over a decade of experience in financial technology, enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud operations, and regulatory compliance.
He holds a Postgraduate Cert. in “Application of Tiny ML” from Harvard Extension School, a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from HEGT University, and professional certifications including CISM and CISA, among others.

Maleeq’s career spans key roles in the banking, fintech, and telecommunication sectors. He worked with Access Bank Plc for several years, gaining extensive experience in enterprise systems, digital banking solutions, and IT operations. He also served as Head of IT (Cloud Operations Engineer) at Motion Yield Limited (Consumer Finance Bank), leading the development and deployment of scalable cloud solutions. His expertise includes SQL, C#, ASP.NET, DevOps Engineering, and system architecture, enabling him to design and implement robust IT systems that meet complex business and regulatory requirements.

Currently, Maleeq serves as Chief Technology Officer at Kaizen Microfinance Bank, where he leads the technology strategy and oversees the day-to-day technology operations of the bank, ensuring seamless, secure, and innovative IT solutions across the organization.

Maleeq is an Associate Member of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) and holds multiple certifications across various IT operational domains. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and an ITIL-certified professional.
